First year of « Armenian Language and Culture” Curriculum…

We are very delighted and pleased to announce that the first year of the “Armenian Language and Culture” Curriculum Unit course, which was taught during the first and second semesters of academic year 2018/2019 at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, has ended with great success.

According to the target established by Dr. Lia Khachikyan, course lecturer and member of the Portugal-Armenia Friendship Association, the foreign students already have the lexical, phonetic and orthographic competences that allowed them to establish short dialogues, use familiar expressions and write short texts in Armenian!

Many congratulations to our students and to Lia Khachikyan!

We would also like to thank the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for funding the course, the Ministry of Diaspora of Armenia for the books and teaching material offered and the Armenian Virtual College of the Armenian General Benevolent Union for free accessing the online learning platform for the Armenian language.
